This presentation will focus on the lifestyles, foods eaten in the Mediterranean region, specifically Italy, and how to adapt this style of living for life in New York or other parts of the country. It will include nutrition information as well as how the foods are produced, highlighting Parmigiano Reggiano, a cheese still made in the traditional way and given the “Protected Designation of Origin” seal because the cheese can only be produced in a specific region of Italy from cows who have a very healthy diet.
