Get to know your bike, learn basic repairs and adjustments, and ride confidently and safely in traffic with Bike New York's Bicycle Education Program. Bike New York's free classes teach these skills to adults and children alike.

Customized programs are available for youth groups, community organizations, educators, and workplaces.

Bike New York classes are free for adults and children (with the exception of Bike Maintenance 101 and 102, which include a registration fee that pays for supplies and benefits our partner, Recycle-a-Bicycle).

Our classes are ideal for beginning cyclists, those who want to become more comfortable riding on busy streets, and people who want to understand the way their bike works and learn common repairs.
