After a landmark launch in 2012, Bike New York today announced that exhibitor registration is now open for Bike Expo New York(BE NY) 2013. BE NY 2013 will take place May 2- 4 at Basketball City(Pier 36) on the days leading up to the 36th annual TD Five Boro Bike Tour. With last year’s demand, prime space is expected to sell quickly. Proceeds from BE NY and the Tour fund Bike New York’s free education programs for youth and adults throughout the five boroughs. Free and open to the public, BE NY 2012 hosted more than 95 brands including notable names such as Specialized, Cannondale, Fuji, Shimano, Primal, People for Bikes and many more. BE NY launched as the largest inaugural bike expo in the country, attracting more than 43,000 attendees.

BE NY is a celebration of urban cycling against the backdrop of New York City. BE NY also hosted an exciting mix of indoor and outdoor entertainment as well as educational programming including a BMX Action Sports Showcase, the Be Chic Be NY fashion show presented by Momentum Magazine and Bike New York’s signature Learn to Ride classes.
