Watch the video below to see why cyclists come from around the world for an experience of the Big Apple unlike any other.
The first Sunday in May: May 4, 2014
The TD Five Boro Bike Tour Presented by REI offers 32,000 cyclists the opportunity to bike through all five boroughs–Manhattan, The Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, and Staten Island–on streets totally free of traffic. The event is co-produced by Bike New York and the New York City Department of Transportation.
Proceeds from the TD Five Boro Bike Tour fund Bike New York’s free bike education classes; last year, we taught over 15,000 New Yorkers how to ride safely and confidently. Plus, there’s no better way to experience the Big Apple than by bike. For one day, the roads are yours, the bridges are yours, the city is yours.
A live registration link will be posted to this page at 12PM (noon) EST on January 14, 2014. Standard Registration is $90; VIP Registration is $325 and includes the following: a Priority VIP Pass, which allows you to start at the front of the pack; a commemorative TD Five Boro Bike Tour jersey that’s only available to riders upon registration; breakfast at the start; a chip that’ll time your climb up the Verrazano Narrows Bridge; and a gourmet lunch at the finish festival. Note: Everyone over the age of 18 must register individually; after registration is closed, each rider will receive an email with instructions on how to link up and ride with friends and family.
