General Information

The Tour presents a remarkable platform for sponsors to target the New York metropolitan area. Some 32,000 cyclists gather for the unique opportunity to ride 42 miles on traffic-free New York City streets, bridges, highways and parks. Proceeds benefit Bike New York’s Bicycle Education Program. Some key demographics to consider are:

• 63% of our riders are male
• 50% are ages 26-45
• 49% have a household income of $100,000+
• 84% have a college degree

Sponsors receive personal attention to assure that genuine partnerships are formed and individual marketing goals are reached. Carefully crafted benefits packages and the opportunity for one-on-one interaction with Tour participants are key to the successful results that bring our sponsors back year after year.

Current and previous sponsors include TD Bank, Con Edison, Honda, Snapple, Time Warner Cable, Specialized Bikes, and Lärabar, among others. A partnership with the Tour allows your company to:

Advertising

The Official Event Program is given to 32,000 registered riders along with city officials, sponsors, VIP guests, and volunteers. Frequently saved as a souvenir of a memorable ride through New York City, the Program is read by more than 90% of Tour participants.

Support the Five Boro–and boost your business–by advertising in the Program. Advertisers may be eligible for other benefits as well, including discounted space at the Tour-ending Festival.
