Getting There

The day begins with a ferry ride from Pier 11 in Lower Manhattan (boarding time: 5:30 a.m.). The 1 1/2-hour cruise through the beautiful Hudson Valley includes breakfast and historical commentary by Manhattan Borough Historian Michael Miscione. Cyclists will debark at Bear Mountain and begin the 46-mile ride there. Please note that the ferry is full as of September 8, but the option to start in Garrison remains open.

Riders starting at the Garrison Metro-North Railroad Station may arrive by train or car (parking available). From here, the ride is 52 miles.

All cyclists will finish in Manhattan, with free lunch and T-shirt pickup. If you started in Garrison, you'll need to take the train back on your own.
