Ride with Bike New York throughout the year!
The TD Bank Five Boro Bike Tour, America's largest cycling event, is truly in a class of its own. But it's not the only thing we do! Bike New York offers regional rides in beautiful areas outside New York City. The Long Island Harbors Ride explores the island's famed North Shore. The Harlem Valley Rail Ride weekend treats riders to a car-free rail trail and beautiful countryside in upstate New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. At the Twin Lights Ride, cyclists travel the back roads of Monmouth County, New Jersey, starting and ending near a landmark lighthouse. New for 2010, the Discover Hudson Valley Ride will travel through this rich, historic area, complete with a crossing of the world's longest pedestrian bridge, the Walkway over the Hudson.
Though the terrain is different (see the comparison chart), these rides have a lot in common: mileage choices for riders of all skill levels, a few simple rules for safety, easy access from New York City, well-marked routes, frequent rest areas, SAG support, and fun tour-ending festivals. Choose your next ride--any or all!

"Can't wait for the Bike NY season to open again. After Twin Lights last year I traded in my mountain bike and got my first road bike! Great program!"

"I just wanted to thank you for another good year of rides. In 2007, I started riding outdoors for the first time since 1978. I did the Five Boro tour and found that to be a really fun experience. I really started training hard and did both the Harlem Valley and Twin Lights 100-mile rides. I enjoyed those so much that I came back this year and did both 100-milers again. Your rides are so well organized and the volunteers are terrific. Even the rain did not deter me!"

"I am very grateful to have come across Bike New York. I have accumulated thousands of miles on my bike since my first tour including riding across the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. I have found a passion for riding now and I just wanted to recognize that this would have never happened without your organization."
--BM, Park Ridge, NJ
"I want to thank your whole organization for making a beautiful summer for me. The rides were very challenging, and I'm glad I made it to all of them. It was exceptional. I hope to see you in 2009."
